LOS ANGELES — Edelman has appointed Christie Bishop head of brand for Southern California. Bishop joins Edelman from Spark44, a joint venture marketing partner to Jaguar Land Rover where she served as executive strategy director and general manager of North America. Bishop is also the well-known host of the Commercial Grade podcast. She will continue to produce the show, which offers an expert behind-the-scenes perspective on the production of creative campaigns.
LOS ANGELES — Allied Global Marketing, has announced several promotions across its media, strategy & delivery, creative and multicultural divisions of the company. New business and account management specialist Kelly Estrella has been promoted to executive VP. Creative division leader Larry Eberhard has been named senior VP, creative. Marcus Best and Jamila Osouna have been promoted to senior VP and VP respectively of Allied Moxy, which is focused on reaching African-American consumers.
WASHINGTON — Susan Davis International has named Sean O’Leary as a VP. O’Leary joins SDI after most recently serving as director for the Merritt Group, leading a practice for technology companies focused on working with federal, state and local governments, as well as the US Department of Defense.
MIAMI — rbb Communications Lauren Bernat to its equity partner ranks. Bernat is VP of Account Services for rbb’s advertising division. The expansion of the leadership cabinet reinforces the continued growth of the agency, following the addition of nine equity partners last year.
